  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest (from about 1 lemon)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup sugar until dissolved. Stir in the lemon juice and zest; allow to cool slightly.
