  • 1 cup vegan kimchi (chopped)
  • 8 oz firm tofu (pressed and crumbled)
  • 1/4 cup green onions (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 cup cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 carrot (grated)
  • 12 vegan dumpling wrappers
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp chili paste
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled tofu, chopped kimchi, green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, shredded cabbage, and grated carrot.
  2. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil until well mixed.
  3. Place a dumpling wrapper on a clean surface. Add about one tablespoon of filling to the center. Moisten the edges with water and fold to seal.
  4. Steam the dumplings for 10-12 minutes until cooked through or pan-fry until golden brown.
  5. For the dipping sauce, mix rice vinegar, chili paste, and maple syrup in a small bowl.
