Ingredients

  • Mascarpone cheese

  • Granulated sugar
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Vanilla extract
  • Eggs

Instructions

  1. Brew strong espresso and let it cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese and sugar until smooth, then add vanilla extract.
  3. Separate eggs; beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Whisk egg yolks with sugar until pale, then combine with the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Gently fold in the beaten egg whites.
  6. Quickly dip ladyfingers in coffee and layer them in a dish; spread half of the mascarpone mixture over them. Repeat layers.
  7. Dust cocoa powder on top and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
