Description

Ingredients

  • Ribeye Steak (1-inch thick)
  • Fresh Garlic (3 cloves)
  • Unsalted Butter (4 tablespoons)
  • Fresh Herbs (thyme or rosemary)
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Lemon Juice (1 tablespoon)

Instructions

  1. Mince garlic and chop herbs; set aside.
  2. Season both sides of the ribeye steak generously with salt and pepper. Let it rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Reduce heat, add minced garlic and butter, and baste continuously until the butter melts.
  5. Toss in fresh herbs and squeeze lemon juice over the steak while cooking for an additional minute.
  6. Remove from heat and let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
