Ingredients
- Fettuccine pasta
- Medium shrimp (deveined)
- Sirloin steak
- Cajun seasoning
- Heavy cream
- Fresh garlic
- Parmesan cheese
- Unsalted butter
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Season and sear the sirloin steak for 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, add more butter if needed, sauté garlic until fragrant, then add Cajun-seasoned shrimp. Cook until pink and opaque (3-4 minutes).
- Pour in heavy cream and whisk in grated parmesan until smooth (2-3 minutes).
- Slice the steak against the grain and combine it with the fettuccine in the skillet, tossing gently to coat in sauce.
- Stir in chopped parsley before serving hot with extra parmesan if desired.
