  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Cooking oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Slice the chicken into thin strips.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes until combined.
  3. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the chicken strips to the hot pan in a single layer; sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
  6. Pour the sauce over the chicken and broccoli, stirring continuously for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is evenly coated.
