Description

Churro Cruffins are a delectable blend of flaky croissant dough and sweet cinnamon-sugar flavors, creating an irresistible treat perfect for brunch or dessert.


Ingredients

  • All-Purpose Flour
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • Active Dry Yeast
  • Butter
  • Milk
  • Eggs
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Cinnamon-Sugar Coating

Instructions

  1. Warm milk until just below boiling; stir in active dry yeast and let foam for 5 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and the yeast mixture until smooth.
  3. Gradually fold in flour and salt to form a soft dough.
  4. Knead on a floured surface for 5 minutes; let rise in an oiled bowl covered with plastic wrap until doubled (about 1 hour).
  5. Roll out dough, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar.
  6. Cut into strips, roll into spirals, and place in greased muffin tins.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Brush with butter and coat in cinnamon-sugar.
