- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
- In another bowl, whisk warm milk, eggs, and melted butter; mix into dry ingredients until just combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm spot for approximately 1 hour.
- Roll out to 1/4 inch thick and cut into squares or rectangles.
- Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry dough pieces until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels and dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
