Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine ground Halal beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While the meatballs bake, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Once the meatballs are baked, transfer them to the simmering marinara sauce and let them cook together on low heat for an additional 5 minutes.
- Slice open sub rolls and generously fill each with saucy meatballs. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Return subs to the oven for 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
