Description

Banana Bread Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting are a delightful fusion of soft, sweet rolls infused with ripe bananas and warm cinnamon, all topped with creamy frosting that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast (2¼ teaspoons)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas. Mix in melted butter and sugar, then stir in proofed yeast.
  3. Gradually add flour and cinnamon until a sticky dough forms; knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
  5. Roll out the dough, spread softened butter over it, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon, then roll into a log and slice into pieces.
  6. Place the rolls in a greased dish and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. For frosting, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth.
  8. Frost warm rolls and enjoy!
